Forza Motorsport 3 bundle Announced, demo to come September 24th

In light of the recently announced Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 bundle, Xbox.com have confirmed that the UK (and South Africa) will be able to get their hands on a 'Super Elite Bundle' of Forza Motorsport 3 when it is released on the 21st October. The bundle will consist of a 250GB hard drive (which won't be made available as a separate accessory add-on), two Wireless Controllers, Xbox 360 Headset and a standard copy of Forza 3 for an RRP of £249.99 in the UK. The console is not expected to feature any special Forza branding and will be the standard black finish Xbox 360 Elite console.

In addition to this announcement, Microsoft has also announced via the official Forza Motorsport site, that a demo of the game will be made avaialbe on Xbox live on the 24th of September, so you'll have about a month to try the game before it comes out in October. The demo will allow you to drive five cars these being:

  • 2007 Porsche #80 Flying Lizard 911 GT3-RSR
  • 2010 Audi R8 5.2 FSI quattro
  • 2009 Ferrari California
  • 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X GSR
  • 2009 Mini John Cooper Works

According to the official announcement you will also be able to drive all the cars in full cockpit view, experience damage, rollover (which wasn't part of forza 2) and have access to official leaderboards when connected to Xbox live. The full game will feature over 400 customisable and tunable cars, 100 tracks coupled with breathtaking graphics and physics.  For more information about Forza Motorsport 3 visit the official site.
